Intip helps you create Vinted listings from photos of your clothes. This page explains what data the app uses, why, who it is shared with and how to delete it.
Who is responsible
The data controller is the publisher of Intip: Robin Bicanic, sole proprietor (entrepreneur individuel), 74 chemin des Marres, 13109 Simiane-Collongue, France, SIREN 835 384 280. For any question about your data: contact@intip.app.
The data we process
- Your account. A technical identifier, created the first time you open the app, that links your listings and photos to your account. We do not ask for your name, your email address or a password.
- Your photos. The photos of clothes, labels and flaws that you take, the photos of yourself that you add to your personal styles or to a Try-on, shipping photos, and the generated worn photos.
- Your listings. The titles, descriptions, flaws, prices and sale statuses created in the app.
- Your ratings. The ratings you give to generated photos, and the reason when you give one.
- Your subscription. The plan, its status, its renewal date and your credit balance. Payment is handled by Apple: we never have access to your bank card.
- Usage data. The screens you view, the actions you take, the errors you run into and the seller profile chosen at first launch. It comes with technical information: device model, system version, language and IP address. It contains neither your photos nor the text of your listings.
- A notification token. Only if you allow notifications, to tell you when your listings are ready.
Photos of yourself are used only to create your images. We do not use them to identify you or for facial recognition.
Why we use it
- To provide the service: create your account, write your listings, create your worn photos, manage your subscription and credits. Legal basis: our contract with you.
- To send your photos to AI services: legal basis: your consent, asked before the first upload.
- To send you notifications: legal basis: your consent, given in your phone's settings.
- To measure usage, fix errors and prevent abuse: legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving the app.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising, or to track you across other apps or websites. We do not use your photos or listings to train AI models, or for our marketing.
Your photos and AI
To write your listing and create your worn photos, Intip sends your photos to third-party AI services: OpenAI and Google, through OpenRouter. These services process them to produce the result, under their own terms.
The app asks for your consent before the first upload. You can withdraw it at any time in the settings: Intip will then ask again before sending your next photos. Without this consent, the app cannot write a listing or create a worn photo.
Our providers
We share your data only with the providers needed to run the service:
- Supabase: database and file storage, in Germany (Frankfurt).
- Railway: hosting of our server, in the Netherlands (Amsterdam).
- OpenRouter, OpenAI and Google: listing writing and worn photo generation, in the United States.
- Apple and RevenueCat: subscription and purchase management. RevenueCat is located in the United States.
- PostHog: usage measurement and error tracking, on servers located in the European Union.
- Expo: notification delivery, in the United States.
- Cloudflare: hosting of the intip.app website.
We may also disclose data if the law or an authority requires us to.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some of these providers are located in the United States or process data there. These transfers are covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for a copy at contact@intip.app.
How long we keep it
- Your listings, photos and personal styles: until you delete them.
- Subscription and credit history (anonymous identifier, plan, credits used, no photos or text): kept so your subscription can be found again when you restore purchases. Write to us to have it erased.
- Usage data: 1 year at most.
- Notification token: until you turn notifications off or delete your data.
Deleting your data
In the app, open the settings, then "Delete my data". Your listings, photos and personal styles are then permanently deleted, and the app starts over with a new anonymous account. Only the subscription and credit history described above remains, with no photos or text. This cannot be undone.
Deletion does not cancel your subscription: you cancel it in your Apple account settings. You can also delete a listing, a photo or a style one by one, at any time.
If you no longer have access to the app, write to us at contact@intip.app.
Security
Data exchanged between the app and our servers is encrypted. Your photos and listings are accessible only to your account. No system is infallible: if an incident affected your data, we would tell you as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw a consent at any time. Write to us at contact@intip.app: we reply within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or with the data protection authority of your country.
Minors
Intip is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child under 16 is using the app, write to us: we will delete their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. For an important change, we tell you in the app.
The French version of this policy is the reference version.
